The latest IPC report predicts that the PCB market will resume growth after 2013

Bannockburn, Illinois, USA, March 12, 2013-According to the results of the "North American PCB Market Research Report" released this week by the IPC-International Electronics Industry Connections®, the North American PCB market will recover moderately in 2013 increase. The report also includes market data and monthly sales forecasts for rigid PCBs and flexible PCBs in 2013.

The "North American PCB Market Research Report" is the first report in the IPC monthly series of reports. It adds market data to the original survey items. The report shows that the sales volume and order volume of rigid PCB boards have decreased slightly, while the sales volume and order volume of flexible circuit boards are positive, and the order-to-shipment ratio of rigid boards and flexible boards has shown an increasing trend. The growth of sales and orders in the report is shown separately by product type and company size, and separately listed by military and medical terminal markets.

The report shows that an important indicator of sales-order reserve is lower than the average level, but the inventory of finished products is at an average level. The report also includes other important indicators that reflect sales conditions and monthly data on the share of domestic production in the United States.

The industry confidence index for the next quarter and the coming year shows that flexible circuit board manufacturers are quite optimistic about 2013, and the flexible circuit board market is growing.

The appendix to the report includes the rigid PCB and flexible PCB sales trend index tables that IPC has been investigating for many years, and the latest information on US PCB imports/exports.
